Hatice Ozcelik,

graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Law, and obtained her Master’s degree in International Private Law from the University of Wales. Her master’s thesis focused on “Control of Mergers and Acquisitions in Turkey and the European Union.”

She  completed internships in London at Monckton Chambers and Pritchard Englefield. She has extensive experience in legal practice and consultancy in the fields of Contract Law, Urban Transformation Law, Construction Law, Administrative Law, Real Estate Law, Intellectual Property Law, Condominium Law, Media and Internet Law, and Labour Law. She has significant expertise in drafting land share construction agreements and other construction contracts, as well as negotiating and finalizing contracts including software and licensing agreements, and managing the entire urban transformation process from start to finish. 

She became a certified mediator in 2016 and completed her Specialization Training in Health Law. She delivered a presentation titled “Involuntary Treatment of Mentally Ill Patients” at the IX National Congress of the Turkish Bioethics Association. She also co-authored a publication with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gürkan Sert and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülay Yıldırım titled “Involuntary Hospitalization and Treatment of Mentally Ill Patients in Turkey / Legal and Ethical Issues.” She has served as a lecturer in Administrative Law at the Istanbul Bar Association Internship Training Center. She is currently teaching at Medipol University Vocational School and pursuing her PhD in Health Law at Medipol University Institute of Social Sciences.
